A young man from Winnipeg is making his way on foot across Canada to raise money for cancer research as thousands of Canadians watch his journey live.
When Jackson Charron-Okerlunde started training for his Cross Canada Jax trek four years ago, he never imagined that so many supporters would end up following his every step. “We lose people way too soon, people like Terry Fox, at such a young age and millions other, so I just wanted to take on a cause where I could make a difference,” said the 25-year-old from Winnipeg.
The Yonkers, New York Hip-Hop recording artist Michael J Foxx (now living in Moncton, New Brunswick Canada) has continuously been on a roll with music and with his partner, up and coming Pop recording artist Sydney Sexton have conjured up something extremely special for Cross Canada Jax & The Terry Fox Foundation.
As we know music brings people together but it hits differently when a group of individuals like this, one on his feet to the pavement and the other has his feet in front of the microphone. Two words, Rare & Special. This type of thing changes the world.
