Fridayy has unveiled a cinematic trailer for his forthcoming self-titled album, Fridayy set for release on August 25th via Def Jam Recordings.
Elsewhere, taking over airwaves yet at again, Fridayy’s new single, “When It Comes To You,” charts as the #1 Most Added” at Urban AC Radio amassing 23 adds in significant markets coast-to-coast. “When It Comes To You” has amassed over 5.2M + streams and counting across all platforms as the official video approaches 2M views since release a few short weeks ago.
Since its initial release, “When It Comes To You” has garnered critical press acclaim from Billboard as a “must-hear” song of the week and UPROXX as one of the “best R&B songs of the week” as well as highlights from Rated R&B, ThisisRnB, Hot New Hip Hop and more. American Songwriter shared “everything about the singer’s appeal is put on full display and brought together in perfect harmony, literally and figuratively.” Last month, GRAMMY.com also unveiled a special live recording of the song by Fridayy made available to experience HERE.
“When It Comes To You” lands in the wake of “Don’t Give It Away” [feat. Chris Brown]. The latter has already posted up 7 million Spotify streams and 3 million YouTube views on the music video in addition to earning critical acclaim.
