GALIT is a singer-songwriter based in Los Angeles. Before starting to create music, she was a co-founder of “SRO entertainment” a production films company that produced Hollywood featured film. She also independently coproduced the Tom Cruise Production Film “ASK THE DUST” starring Salma Hayek, Colin Farrell, and Donald Sutherland.
In 2016 Galit launch her new career in music, as a singer/songwriter. Two short years later, she released two EP’s and later over 20 singles, In 2021 she released her first full length album ‘My Time Is Due’. Galit has successfully turned a childhood passion into her vocation – inspired by artists like Tori Amos and Tracy Chapman she loves writing words and music that tell stories and speak about the human emotional spectrum and condition.
Her goal is to touch and inspire through her music. Her dream is to inspire women to continue creating and sharing beyond the capacity of their womb. The role of your womb may be limited in time, but your ability to create is there for the rest of your life.
Galit is known for her remarkable voice and her unique sound. She is often compared to artists like Alanis Morrissett, Florence (and the machine), Sara McLachlan, Fiona Apple, and Joni Mitchell.
Her song ‘Three’ was nominated for best song of the year in HMMA.
Her song ‘Brazen Heart’ climbed to #1 in few charts. Including iHeart Radio Cafe Top 10 Count Down and ReverbNation charts. Her song ‘Children To Raise’ is nominated for best song in the Hollywood independent music Awards 2023.
