Since the February release of Glockoma 2, which debuted at #13 on the Billboard 200, Key Glock has yet to take his foot off the gas. Today, the Memphis artist adds eight new tracks to the album, sharing Glockoma 2 (Deluxe). With brand new production from Paper Route Empire’s own Bandplay, Memphis hitmaker Tay Keith, and more, Glockoma 2 (Deluxe) is available everywhere via Paper Route Empire.
Home to Glock’s recent flex-heavy video single, “Presidential Rolex,” Glockoma 2 (Deluxe) finds the Memphis playmaker at the top of his game, making it look easy to shoulder a 23-track load without any features, as usual. On the hair-raising opening track, “Sucker Free,” Glock reiterates his bonafides as a well-respected hustler, a title born from the hard work ethic he later credits his mother with inspiring on the motivational “MaMa Said.” Comfortably settled in his role atop the PRE roster, tracks like “Penny” show how the influence of Glock’s late mentor Young Dolph continues to shine through him, as he reinforces his independence: “I’m just getting money, tell ‘em get up out they feelings/Just turned a deal down, what the f*ck is 10 milli?/Huh? Tryna get a billi.”
The sequel to Glock’s acclaimed 2018 tape Glockoma, Glockoma 2 (Deluxe) follows in the wake of the “SiriusXM’s Hip-Hop Nation Presents: Key Glock – Glockoma Tour,” featuring support from NC riser TiaCorine, Glock’s Paper Route Empire brethren Kenny Muney and Jay Fizzle, and Dallas rapper BigXThaPlug. The “Glockoma Tour” criss-crossed the country with dozens of sold out dates. Glock recently paid tribute to his mentor Young Dolph with the “Love For The Streets Celebrity Car Show,” hosted by PRE and DJ Envy, which occurred in Memphis over Memorial Day Weekend, and included the final stop of the DOLPHLAND Museum.
Now with over 10 million monthly listeners on Spotify and 59k tickets sold in 2023 alone, Key Glock is on the brink of taking his no-holds-barred Memphis sound to the mainstream. Stay tuned…#PRE5L.
