Hailing from the home of horrorcore, Memphis rhymer Key Glock looks to put his stamp on Spooky Season. Keeping the sinister vibes going during #GLOCKTOBER, the Paper Route Empire heavy-hitter takes time to stunt with his new video single “Murder & Millions.“ Produced by RamyOnTheBeat, OH Ross, and Mario Luciano, who layer haunting vocal samples, tip-toeing pianos, and creeping organ over snapping Tennessee trap percussion, “Murder & Millions” recounts the elements that made him what he is today, alternating superfly flexes with grim reflections about his rough past and destructive habits.
In the video, multiple versions of Glock strut their stuff in front of stark backgrounds, as the color palette changes from crisp black and white to a more #GLOCKTOBER-appropriate black and orange.
“Murder & Millions” is Glock’s second new single of #GLOCKTOBER, following last week’s “No Hook 2,” his first new song since the release of his Glockoma 2 (Deluxe) project. In addition, Glock teamed up with Gucci Mane for the Bandcamp-produced single “Glizock & Wizop,” which appears on Gucci’s new album Breath Of Fresh Air. During the month of October, Glock will be giving away treats (and tricks), culminating in a giveaway of an all-expense-paid trip to see him perform in Toronto.
