A South Carolina rapper has been released from jail after he pleaded guilty to Simple Assault.
According to the lawyer representing Travis Jackson, aka Skazz, Judge Hale granted a post-conviction of time served with 164 days and was paroled immediately after he pleaded guilty to all charges.
Jackson, 25, was arrested roughly six months ago after police identified him as the suspect. He was charged with one count of simple assault and a lesser charge of harassment.
On Tuesday, March 21, Jackson pleaded guilty to one count of simple assault and summary harassment.
The 25-year-old confessed to slapping his former spouse after an argument ensued. It happened in the 500 block of North 7th St. on October 7, 2022.
Jackson was arrested in Pottsville, PA. He was brought and booked into the Schuylkill County Prison on Saturday, October 8.
