November is Hip Hop History Month, a time when we celebrate the incredible legacy of this cultural phenomenon. To mark this special occasion, Ras Kass, a true luminary in the world of Hip Hop, and the legendary, Patchwerk Recording Studios has released a song called “50•4•50” as a tribute to 50 Years of Hip Hop through 50 bars.
If you wondered about the correlation between the studio and Ras, he’s the reason that the studio exists, and mentions it in his raps. “I’m the foundation..” More on this story can be found in the studio’s documentary directed by Emmy Award Winning, Kishawn Gilliam (@fantasyimages). This morning, the track premiered on Sway In The Morning on Shade 45 Sirius XM.
