Today, Rolling Loud announces the first stop on its 2024 World Tour, revealing the upcoming Rolling Loud Australia, a multi-city festival coming to Australia in January 2024.
The long-awaited follow-up to 2019’s Rolling Loud Australia in Sydney, Rolling Loud Australia is a one-of-a-kind showcase for global hip-hop in the region, returning to Sydney, debuting in Melbourne, and bringing the party to more cities to be announced. Rolling Loud Australia hits GIANTS Stadium in Sydney on Australia Day, and makes its way to Flemington Racecourse in Melbourne on January 27th. “We are hyped to come back to Australia for the first time in years,” say Rolling Loud co-Founders Matt Zingler & Tariq Cherif. “The Sydney fans were so passionate in 2019, so we are eager to return Down Under, and bring Rolling Loud to more cities this time. Rolling Loud Australia is its first event of 2024, and the immediate follow-up to Rolling Loud Miami, the biggest rap festival in the world. 2023 was a year of global expansion for Rolling Loud, widening the brand’s footprint to include four international festivals and two domestic extravaganzas. In April, Rolling Loud made its Asian debut with the inaugural Rolling Loud Thailand, an event that paired American superstars like Travis Scott and Cardi B with a complement of standout artists from East Asia. In the summer, Rolling Loud took over Europe, presenting the inaugural Rolling Loud Germany in Munich, turning up in The Netherlands for Rolling Loud Rotterdam, and returning to the beaches of Portimåo for the second-annual Rolling Loud Portugal. Next year, the World Tour continues, starting Down Under and continuing with events in Europe, Asia, and North America.
Throughout 2024, Rolling Loud commemorates “10 Years Of Rolling Loud,” celebrating the festival’s rise from humble origins to world dominance. Since the first Miami festival, Rolling Loud has evolved into a major force in hip-hop, providing a massive stage for rap’s biggest names, giving early exposure to future superstars, including Travis Scott, Juice WRLD, and Ice Spice, and inspiring some of the most memorable moments in the genre’s recent history. Under the leadership of founders Matt Zingler and Tariq Cherif, Rolling Loud deftly navigated the pandemic, transforming into a livestreaming giant and media company, hosting four virtual festivals and several weekly cultural programs.
