Not only is he a master of the nuances in slick talk and have a deep understanding of its role in courtship, Starda is a vehement and outspoken advocate for women’s empowerment. The Staten Island, New York native rapper/producer, educator, philanthropist, and serial entrepreneur exudes this duality on his new EP Swagg Durty… And She Love It, released today (3/29/2023) via Banks and Roses Society/Soulspazm. Following Starda’s 2022 debut EP The Starda Kit, Vol. 1, the new five-track project serves as an ode to ambitious, career-driven women. With production by Track Pros and G Hutch, Swagg Durty follows the narrative of a developing relationship between Starda and a woman to whom he provides support and words of encouragement.
