YTB Fatt tore through the Southern rap scene in 2023 with his slick rhymes and appetite for success. In recent weeks, the West Memphis, Arkansas riser has turned up the heat – his viral “Get Back” single (38M+ streams to date) recently earned him co-signs from San Francisco 49ers players Deebo Samuel and George Kittle. Capitalizing on a hot streak that started with “Get Back,” Fatt shares his new project, Foxes Only, out everywhere via Loaf Boyz Ventures/10K Projects. Fatt also shares the video for project highlight “Gangsta Of The Year,” a tenacious proclamation of Fatt’s ascending status in the rap game. The Samuel Finley-directed video finds Fatt and his crew mobbing through NYC, as the rapper flaunts his gleaming fox chain while relaxing on rooftops, exploring SoHo’s shops, attending a premiere, and stacking racks in the studio.
Foxes Only adds an exclamation to Fatt’s breakout year, showcasing the 22-year-old rapper at his energetic best, narrating street tales and delivering smooth flexes with a breathless, rapidfire pace. The 10-track project finds the Bread Gang riser at his most confident, looking forward to making an imprint in the rap game. Though the project welcomes features from rap heavyweights like Lil Yachty, GloRilla, and Baby Drill, what you’ll love most is Fatt’s ability to hold his own on any beat thrown his way.
Foxes Only is the follow up to the October-released Fox Prelude EP, the ice-cold three pack of fan favorite tracks now available on DSPs, and his debut mixtape, Who Is Fatt. Released in August, Who Is Fatt peaked at #4 on Billboard’s Heatseekers Albums and in the top 30 on Apple Music’s Top Albums chart, boasting over 104M+ US streams to date. The mixtape was also named one of Audiomack’s 50 Best Albums of 2023. The mixtape is also home to street anthems like the sinister “Calm It Down” (7.6M+ YouTube views), “Bet I Whip It” ft. Rob49, and the Pitchfork-approved “Poppin’ It Hard.” Including guest appearances from Big Homiie G (on recent single “Us”) and FTO Sett, Who Is Fatt is the perfect introduction to Arkansas’ hidden gem.
With co-signs from some of the biggest names in the rap game, mentorship from Moneybagg Yo, and racking in over 104M+ streams this year, YTB Fatt is here to stay and he’s ready to run it up. Stay tuned for all that he has coming next!
