Philadelphia’s creative community joined The PishPosh Girl to celebrate her birthday and the 10 year anniversary of her brand’s inception!
The fashion and creative worlds came alive. The event held at Rec Philly’s spacious studio was elaborately decorated with photos of PishPosh‘s past, present, and glimpses of its promising future; most captured by MakeWonders, her frequent collaborator and friend. The brand, which owner Imani started in 2014 has grown immensely. She is a visualist, artist, designer, & creative director. All of which is exalted in her work.
The PishPoshWorld features one-of-a-kind wearable art, from custom hand painted clothing and luxurious pieces to home decor and canvas pieces.
The B-Day Bash brought the city out and had activations in almost every room, with a design scheme created by ThePishPosh Girl herself. The night included photo-ops provided by Philly Billboard, PishPosh, and HipHopSince1987.
A delectable snack bar and esteemed VIP experience sponsored by Hennessy and ran by Chante of 2xTheService.
On the main stage Siaani Love DJ’d and Queen Yaszy B hosted keeping the crowd engaged and entertained all night. That is, in between the stellar performances by Amir Ali, Shawn Smith, Lena L., Deek, Emyne, Mec Monroe and Muddas. Ali closed the evening with a catalytic performance and heartfelt shoutout and thank you to Imani.
