What Hoboken Sounds Like invites you to the second annual Summer Blockfest on Saturday, August 10, 2024, at 770 Jackson Street from 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM. This year’s festival promises a day filled with live Hip-Hop and R&B performances, delicious food vendors, captivating art, and a variety of local businesses showcasing clothing brands, accessories, and more.
Last year’s inaugural event was a monumental success, attracting over 700 attendees and making history as Hoboken’s first-ever Hip-Hop and R&B festival. It brought more cultural presence to the Southwest region of Hoboken, receiving statewide recognition in the Jersey Journal, extensive media coverage, and a nomination for one of the best community events in Hoboken.
This year, the festival is expanding its offerings with more music, more food, more activities for the youth, and plenty of surprises. The Summer Blockfest aims to celebrate Hoboken’s vibrant culture and bring the community together for an unforgettable day.
