Indian superstar Diljit Dosanjh made his American late night tv debut on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. Diljit performed a medley of his dance floor-ready hits “Born To Shine” and “G.O.A.T,” making history as the first-ever Indian artist to perform on the Tonight Show and the first Punjabi artist to perform on any American late night television ever. The dynamic performance earned a rare standing ovation from the audience and effusive praise from Jimmy Fallon himself.
Of the momentous occasion Dosanjh said “I am deeply honored and humbled to have had the opportunity to perform on The Tonight Show. It’s a dream come true for me. I hope this performance inspires many others to follow their dreams fearlessly and embrace their roots with pride.”

The North American DIL-LUMINATI tour kicked off in Vancouver’s BC Place in April, making history as the first ever South Asian star to sell out the 55,000 seat stadium. The show, which was the first of many sold out shows, earned critical praise from the Vancouver Sun, who called his music “high-energy…with slick contemporary pop production on seductive jams” and “fiercely addictive.” The tour, that included a stop at the Prudential Center in Newark, continues next month with massive arena and stadium shows including Crypto.com Arena in LA on July 10 and Rogers Center in Toronto on July 13.
