The single serves as Noodah05‘s second of 2024, following the recent release of the “Dead Body” video. Staying true to his goal of releasing a new project each year, 2023’s offering was Bigger Now – with features from Lil Baby, Rylo Rodriguez, Rob49 and Lil Double O, the project showcased the depths of Noodah05‘s deeply emotional lyricism delivered through smooth melodic reflections. Now linking up with fellow ATL artist Hunxho for the Valentine’s Day-themed single “Pretty Girls Don’t Cry”, Noodah05 is keeping his hot streak alive while continuing to lean into his attention-grabbing mixture of smooth vocals and intimate musings. Using the pitched-up vocal sample of the beat to bring out his vulnerability, Noodah05 dedicates the new track to being there for his love interest – “Just gon’ and put your problems on my back / I’m only human, but I’ll try to be your Superman”, he sings soulfully on the hook.
