New York Hip-Hop heavyweight Roc Marciano has just released a new single “Gold Crossbow” with the announcement of his new album, Marciology—out next Friday with features from Larry June, and Flee Lord as well as production from The Alchemist and Animoss. 2024 marks the start of a new era for the storied MC and producer, with the project arriving fresh off of a multi-date North American and European tour announcement [ticket link here]. Roc Marciano is on the heels of a career-minting run of critically-acclaimed solo LPs, from his respective 2018 and 2019 albums Marcielago and Mt. Marci, to his 2020 instrumental project Pimpstrumentals. Roc Marciano has also spent the past few years sitting behind the boards, creating the soundscape for notable underground Hip-Hop projects, like Stove God Cooks’ debut album Reasonable Drought and Flee Lord’s 2021 LP Delgado. In 2022, Roc Marciano dropped the meticulous The Elephant Man’s Bones – the long-anticipated full-length album with renowned producer The Alchemist. Most recently, Roc Marciano produced Nothing Bigger Than the Program, a joint project with Vancouver mainstay Jay Worthy. Continuing his streak, the new release of “Gold Crossbow” serves as the lead single into the forthcoming Marciology – Roc’s 11th studio album.
