The World’s Largest Hip-Hop Festival Returns to Hard Rock Stadium for a Special “10 Years of Rolling Loud” Edition of Its Flagship Fest
Over 10 years, Rolling Loud grew from a one-day festival into a global brand, hosting star-studded festivals on multiple continents across the world. As far as Rolling Loud may travel, the festival’s biggest event of each year will always be in Miami, its hometown. Today, Rolling Loud announces its return for Rolling Loud Miami 2024, coming back to Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardensfrom December 13-15th.
This year’s Rolling Loud Miami is a special occasion, occurring at a festive time of year and celebrating a milestone anniversary. Rolling Loud Miami is the culmination of the festival brand’s year-long commemoration of “10 Years of Rolling Loud,” reflecting on a decade of shifting the culture. The upcoming Miami ’24 festival will complement performances by the biggest names and most exciting risers in rap with artists who appeared on the original Rolling Loud bill in 2015.
From the beginning, Rolling Loud aimed to do things differently from other music festivals, offering a platform to vital artists before the rest of the industry took notice. The first Miami festival was a one-day event featuring over 100 performing artists, headlined by established stars like ScHoolboy Q and A$AP Ferg, but also featuring underground heroes like LUCKI (then known as Lucki Eck$) and Denzel Curry, welcoming street-level stars like Curren$y, and giving a platform to artists who would eventually become superstars: Travis Scott (then Travis $cott), billed on the poster’s second line, showed his stage-shattering charisma, and Post Malone made a special guest appearance to perform his then-new hit “White Iverson.”
As Rolling Loud expanded, moving to Miami’s Bayfront Park in 2017, then to its current home of Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens in 2018, it kept its curatorial spirit even as it booked bigger and bigger names, like Kendrick Lamar, Cardi B, J. Cole, and more. Rolling Loud’s South Florida location made the festival the ideal showcase for the SoundCloud rap explosion: artists like Juice WRLD, Lil Peep, and XXXTentacion made their earliest festival appearances, and artists like Playboi Carti, Lil Uzi Vert, Trippie Redd, and Ski Mask The Slump God grew from upstarts to massive names. Now, after playing host to some of the genre’s most memorable moments of the past decade–Juice WRLD’s last public concert, Lil Nas X onstage with BIlly Ray Cyrus, Uzi’s 40-foot stage dive, and many more–Rolling Loud is hip-hop’s biggest stage, with events all over the globe. Rolling Loud Miami 2024 is a tribute to the festival’s long-standing influence, and promises to be an event that stands out in the festival’s storied history.

“It was incredible seeing the Rolling Loud community come together in Los Angeles for a truly unforgettable weekend of music,” say Rolling Loud co-Founders Matt Zingler & Tariq Cherif. “Rolling Loud has grown so much over the past ten years, and we are proud to have developed a place where passionate fans can experience all aspects of hip-hop culture. Now, with California in the books, we look forward to the biggest party of all: our ‘10 Years of Rolling Loud’ anniversary show in Miami.”
“In four and a half years — beginning small in Miami, and now promoting Coachella-sized events around the country — Rolling Loud has established itself as a playground for the young…This time last year, many of the rappers now drawing crowds of several thousand were barely known.” – The New York Times
Rolling Loud California was merely the first stop of Rolling Loud’s 2024 World Tour. The party continues in Austria, with Rolling Loud Europe, hitting RACINO in Ebreichsdorf, Austria near Vienna, from July 5-7 this year. In November, Rolling Loud returns to the Land of Smiles for the second annual Rolling Loud Thailand, taking over Pattaya, Thailand from November 22-24, 2024. Of course, the main event is the special “10 Years of Rolling Loud” edition of Rolling Loud Miami, closing out 2024 in December.
Led by founders and CEOs Matt Zingler and Tariq Cherif, Rolling Loud is the most powerful hip-hop festival in history, hosting sold out events around the globe, providing a proper stage for hip-hop’s biggest names and a launching platform for its hottest rising stars.
