Milwaukee’s rising hip-hop talent, Leon DoinNumberz, was born Leon Woods Jr. on January 3rd, 1992, in Chicago, Illinois. In 1998, he moved to Milwaukee, where he spent his formative years. By the early 2000s, he was fully immersed in the city’s culture, later attending Vincent High School in 2006.
Growing up around drugs, guns, violence, and poverty, Leon faced the harsh realities of street life early on. The constant struggle became his breaking point. In 2009, after serving time in jail, he discovered his purpose through music. His passion for rapping quickly caught the attention of local producers and DJs.
By the late 2000s, he released his mixtape “2 Hot 4 TV,” and his breakout single “She Like Damn Daddy,” produced by KPOnDaBeat, charted in the Top 100 in 2012.

He continued leveling up with projects like “Go Hard or Go Home” and “Trap Dreams,” featuring DJ Edubb, DJ Plugg, and more. Leon went on to appear on major platforms, including Hot 107.9, V100.7, HipHopsRevival, LiveMixtapes, Spinrilla, and DatPiff, amassing over 300,000 views before the streaming era—a testament to his organic buzz and unique sound.
Recently, Leon DoinNumberz secured a distribution deal with Roc Nation, pushing his career into a new chapter.
His current focus is on his debut studio album, “LEON,” dropping Fall 2026. Fans are already hyped for the rollout, especially after he released the cinematic, life-story-inspired visual “Trouble Kid.”

His latest singles, “Mink Coat” and “You the Only One,” are gaining traction with their catchy trap bounce and melodic appeal, further proving Leon’s versatility.
