As the clock has struck midnight, Dave East officially released Karma 4, the highly anticipated fourth installment of his beloved Karma series. Five years after Karma 3, the Harlem emcee returns with a project that both honors the gritty roots of the series and showcases his evolution as an artist.
Since debuting in 2017, Karma has served as a cornerstone in East’s prolific catalog—an ongoing testament to his raw storytelling, lyrical precision, and ability to blend street narratives with mainstream appeal. Over the years, the Karma series has featured a who’s who of collaborators, including Chris Brown, Gunna, Offset, Lil Durk, and Fabolous. Karma 3, released in 2020 via Def Jam/Mass Appeal, leveled up with heavyweight features from Mary J. Blige, Benny The Butcher, A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie, Young Dolph, G Herbo, and more.
Now, with Karma 4, East raises the bar once again. The new album is a statement piece—rooted in hunger, growth, and longevity. It reflects a seasoned artist still sharpening his pen while exploring new sonic territory. This latest chapter features standout collaborations with Nipsey Hussle, Wiz Khalifa, Key Glock, Stove God Cooks, Larry June, Mozzy, Jeremih, Jacquees, Neek Bucks and Maino and more. The Nipsey feature, in particular, has stirred buzz across social media, especially after East previewed the track during his recent appearance on Kai Cenat’s Mafiathon 3 livestream.
Adding to the album’s visual narrative, the Karma 4 cover pays tribute to Tupac Shakur’s legendary Vibe Magazine shoot—an intentional nod as the original cover celebrates its 30th anniversary this year. The homage reflects East’s deep respect for hip-hop history while signaling his own place within that legacy.
Leading up to the release, East dropped the visual for “Demon,” a dark and cinematic piece that matches the energy of the project. He also unveiled the single “Stand On That,” a melodic yet gritty track featuring Jeremih, showcasing the kind of balance East has mastered: street-wise authenticity paired with commercial sensibility.
With Karma 4, Dave East doesn’t just continue a fan-favorite series—he reaffirms why it matters. The project is available now on all streaming platforms.
