Akhmose Sekhem Re born in Fairfax, SC, and raised in Hampton, SC, is a multifaceted artist whose sonic universe spans Hip Hop, Gospel, Reggae, Neo-Soul, Jazz, Classical, and Indigenous cultural music. His artistry is rooted in a powerful lineage: a mother shaped by soulful Baptist and Pentecostal traditions, and a father whose electrifying lead-guitar riffs exposed him early to musical mastery.
A poet since the 3rd grade, SEKHEM has dedicated his life to truth, unity, and the pursuit of higher knowledge. Through Hip-Hop and inspirational music, he channels deep spirituality, ancestral wisdom, and unfiltered lyricism. Over the years, he has evolved into a complete creator-mastering songwriting, production, engineering, and musicianship while crafting soundscapes for himself and numerous artists across genres.
