Washington, DC — The Somewhere Over the Rainbow (OTR) Music Festival is bringing its signature magic to the nation’s capital with a special DC Edition on Saturday, September 27th at Koi Sushi Lounge. Known for spotlighting independent LGBTQ+ artists and allies, OTR continues its mission to create inclusive, high-energy celebrations of music and culture in every city it touches.
This edition is powered by a special partnership between C.H.A.O.S. (Creative Hustlers & Owners Society) and Moore Rich Entertainment, combining forces to deliver a night of unforgettable performances and community connection.
The showcase will feature rising talents including Billy The Goat, Nia Monae, Lyricalmar, Keith Angelo, with the evening hosted by Amier. Performances will be presented on an intimate 4×8 centerstage set against an LED wall, designed for crowd engagement and a dynamic live experience.
The DC Edition follows the success of the recent OTR Atlanta Block Party, which drew hundreds of guests and cemented OTR’s reputation as more than just a festival—it’s a growing movement. Each city stop creates space for emerging LGBTQ+ voices while uniting audiences around music, visibility, and pride.
“OTR isn’t just about the stage, it’s about building platforms and connections that last far beyond the event,” organizers shared. “With partners like Moore Rich Entertainment and communities that show up the way Atlanta did, we’re excited to make DC another historic stop on this journey.”
With a vibrant lineup, a packed dance floor expected, and a mission rooted in artistry and unity, the OTR DC Edition at Koi Sushi Lounge is set to be one for the books.
