Anthony Felton, native to Philadelphia, has emerged as a strong voice for prevention, rehabilitation and community empowerment after spending nearly half of his life in the Pennsylvania correctional system. Raised in North Philadelphia’s Nicetown section near 33rd and York streets, Felton says his final 8½ years of incarceration became a turning point, reshaping his beliefs and direction. Since returning home nearly two years ago, he has dedicated his time to educating and mentoring youth through school visits, neighborhood pop-ups, one-on-one counseling, and conflict resolution initiatives. As vice president of Returning Citizens for Better Philadelphia, Felton also maintains close ties to incarcerated individuals, offering guidance and motivation while working alongside his father, Malik Aziz, the organization’s president.
Felton is now expanding his impact beyond grassroots outreach into civic engagement, preparing to run for community ward leader in the Roxborough area with the goal of influencing policies that affect youth, families and returning citizens. At the same time, he has launched multiple businesses under the CornerWorldCorp umbrella, including Felton Family Cleaning Service, Arganee Bahlajh Fashion Company, and CornerWorld Management Agency. Balancing entrepreneurship with activism, Felton is also a father of 11 and grandfather of six, roles he describes as central to his commitment to remain a productive citizen and role model.
In the music and entertainment industry, Felton — known professionally as @theoriginalreddz — has built a parallel legacy. He previously served as head of design and an A&R at Generation Now, earning a co-sign from Don Cannon, while simultaneously co-founding Press Play Entertainment and MirGunna Management Agency. The companies have gained recognition for artist and producer development, including work with Grammy-nominated producer Musik Spirit, whose collaboration “Proud of Me” by Fridayy featuring Meek Mill reached the Billboard Hot 100 and was named one of Rolling Stone’s 25 Best Hip-Hop Songs of 2025. Guided by a philosophy of “hard work and dedication, then more hard work,” Felton continues to bridge community rebuilding with cultural influence, positioning himself as a figure to watch both locally and nationally.
