To start out his new year, and to round out 2014, Saskatchewan artist Rubiks has liberated a Toronto-shot video off his album ‘VOLUM3: Push Play #PushItRealGood’ for the single, “Uh-Oh”.
While he enlisted producer Rich Kidd to create a grainy industrial-strong instrumental for the project’s lead single, he calls on director Elliot Clancy-Osberg and Kareem King to bring this visual to life.
Shot in the downtown core of the city, Rubiks shines a light on the mechanics of his mind, including his involvement with street artists, his proud cultural heritage and a unique approach to re-introducing himself to the world through an iconic haircut.
