Big K.R.I.T. serves as one of the first artists to grace the stage of Jimmy Fallon’s “The Tonight Show” in 2015 & performed one of his new records, Soul Food, taken from his latest sophomore release Cadillactica. Krizzle was backed up with band assistance from legendary hip-hop group, The Roots, & vocals from Raphael Saadiq, who is actually featured on the record. The crowd was electrified with KRIT’s stage presence & animations of his thought-provoking single as Saadiq complimented the live band with his incredible guitar playing.
If you notice, K.R.I.T. was wearing the same t-shirt that André 3000 wore at the ATLast concert over the summer that reads “across cultures, darker people suffer most. Why?”. Relevant much?
Cadillactica debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Hip-Hop & R&B charts. After viewing Big K.R.I.T.’s Monday night performance on “The Tonight Show”, purchase the LP from iTunes here.
