It’s next to impossible to stop someone on their path to greatness. While they may be faced with obstacles that may leave them second guessing their path at times, it’s the person that keeps going that will always prevail. Stoneface fits that archetype to the fullest; having lost his eye sight after getting shot at point blank range, he’s transformed his personal tragedy into story of perseverance and triumph.
On the visuals for “Calico Audio,” which serves as the debut single to Stoneface’s forthcoming LP, The Stone Age, ‘face is joined by fellow Philly rhymer, Freeway, as the two drop a series of bludgeoning bars over a horn heavy beat supplied by, BP. Under the direction of Inferno Productions, the duo are found carrying out a crosstown caper, in an illusive attempt to be the John Gottis of the rap game. Nonetheless, the visuals do their rhymes justice as they reflect the styles of both rappers: raw and to the point for fans of that street rap sound. Stay tuned for the forthcoming release of The Stone Age, which will be available on compact disc, and digital download on in the very near future through Gemstarr Regime Records.
