Jerry Sandusky was sentenced Tuesday to at least 30 years in prison , effectively a life sentence in the child sexual abuse scandal that destroyed Penn State’s legacy and led to coach Joe Paterno firing and downfall.
Penn State received a lot of flack when stories came out of a possible sex scandal and cover up by nitty lions brass. Many lives were destroyed as a result of Sandusky’s sick actions and now he will pay for his crime.
Today in a Pennsylvania court room, Judge John Cleland sentenced Jerry Sandusky to 30 to 60 years in prison. Under Pennsylvania law, Sandusky cannot be released on parole before the minimum term is up and most likely will die in jail.
