St. Louis rapper, J.R., has had an explosive first quarter. After the February release of his debut EP, Gang Season, he’s showing no signs of slowing down. With the video premiere of his stand out track, “Today,” shot by Future’s go-to-director, Rick Nyce of Grind Season Films, it’s all about making it count and counting it up as the STL native begins anything but a typical day around his way, which includes a line of exotic whips & women, and even an assassination attempt. J.R. said the video was inspired by Ice Cube‘s “Today Was A Good Day.”
