Meek Mill’s ongoing ordeal with the criminal justice system and their heavy-handed approach towards his probation has dominated headlines this week. Today, a new verse from his longstanding friendship with NY rapper Trav off the latter’s forthcoming QRAK (Queens Raised A King) album has surfaced.
Though the beat is laid-back and ethereal, both emcees turn up the energy level, Trav with his infectious auto-tuned bellows, and Meek with his trademark spitfire. The record, which was originally intended for Meek’s forthcoming album, ended up on Trav’s instead due to timelines and is Meek’s first verse released since his incarceration last week. QRAK, which also boasts features from Tory Lanez & Belly, Blac Youngsta & Don Q, Lil Durk, and more.
