This past week NBA 6th Man of the Year & LA Clipper guard, Lou Williams and the Lou Williams Foundation, held their 14th annual basketball camp at his alma mater, South Gwinnett High School, in Atlanta. This acclaimed summer camp hosted over 180 kids (ages 6-15) for a week-long training camp. Each day the campers spent the day learning fundamental basketball skills from Lou Williams, Chuck Ellis (renown NBA trainer) and their counseling staff.
Each day Lou Williams invited special guests to surprise the kids throughout the week. On Wednesday afternoon, the new member of the Los Angeles Clippers, Mike Scott stopped pass the camp to share his NBA journey with the youth.
After Mike Scott spoke with the kids, These Urban Times’ own Terrell Thomas caught up with Mike to discuss a few topics. Terrell Thomas and Mike spoke on him joining the Los Angeles Clippers, he NBA career, his current Hip-Hop playlist, his favorite three kicks of all-time and more.
