Earlier this afternoon, the Houston Texans made the announcement that safety Andre Hal has been activated after his cancer has moved into remission.
Andre Hal had been on the Texans reserve/ non-football injury list since June due to Hodgkin’s Lymphoma but the 26 year old safety decided to avoid going to chemotherapy in case this day would come. Hal returned to Texans practice on Wednesday and is looking to make his season debut on Sunday against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
During the 2017 NFL season, Andre Hal recorded 3 interceptions and 71 tackles. The Houston Texans face the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday October 21st.
