Former Cleveland Browns head coach Pat Shurmur could be heading back to Philly. Shurmur who most recently was the head shot caller for the Cleveland Browns was fired this season after going 9-23 in his two seasons with the Browns going 5-11 this year. Despite that record Shurmur is about to replace Marty Mornhinweg as the Philadelphia Eagles new offensive coordinator.
Shurmur spend much of his coaching days as a member of the Eagles coaching staff serving as a offensive coach from 1999-2008 with the birds. Many question if Shurmur’s offensive style will match the up-tempo style if new Eagles head coach Chip Kelly but Kelly and Shurmur have a few tricks up their sleeve for without the Eagles go with as their QB next season (Vick or Foles).
