West Palm Beach’s own GrownBoiTrap is back to deliver his last single of the year and decade to fans in “No Standards.” In the new track GBT displays a fast and guttural rap style over the hard bop of a beat while depicting his rebellious nature. He doesn’t give the beat any time to breath before jumping all over it using his signature, aggressive yet effortless flow.
The new visual is directed by Evan Paricio, most known for his work with: YBN Almighty Jay, YBN Nahmir, Molly Brazy and YNW Melly, is set in the backdrop of Orlando, Florida where GrownBoiTrap is currently based. Throughout the video, Grownboitrap gets gritty to rob another and prove there is no standard to follow.
“We have no standards. Me and my team do what we want, when we want, how we want. We aren’t afraid to represent and take what’s ours,” says GrownBoiTrap.
GrownBoiTrap began releasing music in 2016 often collaborating with D. Savage. The South Florida native sticks to his roots in banger “Lit” featuring D Savage which reached over 3.4M streams on Souncloud and “Eskettit” with Ski Mask the SlumpGod. GBT performed @ Miami’s Rolling Loud in 2019.
