Philadelphia, PA — HipHopSince1987 presented The Diplomats (Dipset) rapper Jim Jones in Philadelphia this passing Saturday on Dec. 14, 2019 at Voltage Lounge. Jones dropped a studio album May this year, called El Capo. El Capo features Fabolous, Camron, Rick Ross, and more. He has been in the game for over 20 years now, so there’s no telling he can put on a good show and pack a venue, which is exactly what he did last Saturday.
Voltage Lounge was full, and for good reason. Jones had many Philly artists open his show. Some of Philly’s new favorites took the stage, like DramaB2R, Jay Huff, Ranshaw, and ENess. Along with these new names on the Philly forefront, other underground artists were given the opportunity to open for Jones as well.
Jim Jones recently dropped a music video for “State of The Union” featuring Marc Scibilia and Rick Ross.
