Jeffery Lamison, known as Polite, born April 13th, 1995, is a New York-based rapper, singer, and songwriter. Growing up faced with many obstacles, the rapper is now set to make his childhood dreams a reality. Polite was born and raised in Queens, NY, but during his teenage years, he’d frequently move back and forth between New York City and Charlotte, NC; and only wanted the best for his city. He has been writing since he was 13 and wants to use his ability to bring back the lyrics that used to be so prevalent in rap. Polite is preparing to make history as he is placing the masters on each track. That, coupled with what we know is already in the works for Polite, is why we think he is Next Up out of New York City.
