As an up and coming independent hip hop artist, Rauziel is certainly leaving his mark on the music industry. Growing up with a love for music, he would decide at a young age that he wanted to become a music artist. Listening to artists like Michael Jackson, Jay Z, Kendrick Lamar, Drake, Future, and Lil Wayne helped to influence him and his music. Like most successful music artists, Rauziel believes in giving back to his community when he gets the opportunity. He knows he was fortunate enough to be blessed with numerous opportunities that granted him the ability to pursue his career as a hip hop artist. And that’s one of the reasons why he always remembers to pay it forward by giving back to the community.
One of his first big opportunities was getting the chance to have Nirvana’s old manager Scott Litt as his childhood music mentor. Scott taught Rauziel many things about the music industry, including how to record himself in ProTools and how to make his own beats. Another great opportunity he got was a chance to open up for the singer August Alsina while on tour in Australia. That’s where he got to experience one of the most energetic and hyped audiences he’s ever seen while performing. He was also blessed with the opportunity to work with Eric Bellinger on his hit single Goat. The single is still regarded as one of Eric Bellinger’s biggest hit records to this day. And the song also earned both of the music artists their first gold plaque, which is a huge accomplishment for an independent artist.
Earlier this year in April, Rauziel released his latest full-length album which he titled VSN. He was able to create the entire project by using all the free time he suddenly had thanks to the quarantine. Having all that time to himself really allowed his creativity to flourish. On top of releasing his VSN album, Rauziel also released quite a few uptempo singles throughout spring and summer. But the young hip hop artist isn’t slowing things down by any means. In fact, he’s currently working on another full-length project that will primarily feature melodic records. So far Rauziel hasn’t announced an official release date or name for the project, but we do know that he will be dropping it over the holidays. Make sure you’re following Rauziel so you can stay caught up on all of his upcoming releases and news updates. He’s expected to also be unveiling dates for tours and festivals in the near future!
