Bas delivered a summer package to lift the spirits today (April 15) with [BUMP] Pick Me Up. In addition to its four tracks, the EP also features some solid artists, which include Lil Tjay, Ari Lennox, Gunna, J. Cole, and Galimatias. He accompanied the new single with a brand new music video for “Admire Her,” the Gunna-produced tune that reminds men to be more appreciative of their women:
Additionally, Bas combined forces with Wyclef Jean and Price for an eponymous single and with The Hics to make “Smoke From Fire.” He also used his platform to raise awareness about issues that mattered to him by hosting Dreamville’s podcast, The Messenger, which will highlight efforts to bring freedom to Uganda. In July, Bas teamed up with Lil TJay and J. Cole for “The Jackie.”
In addition to Gunna’s latest project DS4EVER, which came out a few weeks ago, DS4EVER featured 20 cuts and guest contributions from Lil Baby, Future, Drake, Young Thug, Kodak Black, 21 Savage, Chlöe Bailey, and more. His biggest project to date, I Am Here debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 with 150,000 album equivalent units sold in the first week. In the days leading up to Valentine’s Day, Gunna released his video for “you & me,” a romantic duet with Chlöe Bailey.
