The legendary Sean Paul came back with a new single this week called “No Fear,” on which he worked with a number of other celebrities Nicky Jam and Damian Marley. He is currently promoting his upcoming eighth studio album, Scorcha, which is scheduled for release May 27. Taking the lead on “No Fear,” Sean Paul sets the tone quickly with his fearless cadence:
Scorcha is scheduled to be released on May 27th, and Sean will perform a special performance at The Novo in Los Angeles in honor of the occasion. Among Sean Paul’s recent releases, he released “Dynamite” featuring Sia last Fall before returning with “How We Do It” with Pia Mia last month.
Prior to the release of this album, Sean’s GRAMMY nominated 7th Studio Album ‘Live n Livin’ was released by his own label Dutty Rock Productions in 2010 under his own moniker. The last album Sean Paul dropped under Atlantic Records was Full Frequency, which was his last album under their label. It’s been around seven years since this album landed on the market. A total of 14 tracks are included on the project, with guest appearances from Juicy J, Damian Marley, 2 Chainz, Konshens, Nicki Minaj, Iggy Azalea, and more. The legendary artist later released the EP Mad Love the Prequel, and, in recent years, dropped loose singles such as “Boasty” featuring Wiley, “Shot & Wine” featuring Stefflon Don, “Contra La Pared” by J Balvin, “Bad Inna Bed,” and “When It Comes To You,” among others.
