Coming out of Edmonton, Canada with a fresh and inventive sound, Burundi-born artist ARDN popped up on many rap fans’ radar when he was featured as an opener on Isaiah Rashad‘s Canadian Tour. Today he releases a brand new single titled “Paper.”
“‘Paper’ is a song that describes a girl I have strong interest in, that is dealing with a number of struggles in her life,” explains ARDN. “I offer her an opportunity to escape, by taking on a new journey with me in which we’ll adventure, and grow rich together.”
It’s not only an anthem that proves ARDN has high aspirations in the game, but it’s one that showcases flows from melody to rapid-fire rhymes and back. This single marks the first in a rollout for a new EP he’s putting together later this summer. Stay tuned for more news on that, but for now, stream “Paper” down below.
