The Rising 22 year old artist caught our attention recently with an EP he released on September 9th titled, “2000”. It features slower songs such as “Slow Motion” and “Ups & Downs”, but also gives us the upbeat West Coast R&B sound similar to artists like Blxst and Ty Dolla $ign with “Fondue” and “Ace”.
These West Cost songs stood out, as the flows, rhymes, and melodies of the songs created a vibe that was unique, yet joyful to the ears of the listeners. He uses lines in Fondue such as, “I know I’m the hottest guy, but I just play it cool”, to give the listeners a picture of how he’s a guy that’s hard to replace.
This marks his 4th overall project, including EP’s and he states that there’s much more to come.
He states: “I have a lot more quality music on the way. R&B mixed with Hip-Hop and giving off a distinct sound that’s different than what many people have heard. I want to create clean love songs that the people can relate to as a lot of people have been through similar experiences as I have. With this album dropping in February, I’m excited to bring out a new side of me that hasn’t been shown to the masses yet!”
After hearing his latest project, “2000”, we’re excited to see what else he has to bring to the table. With billboard appearances in Los Angeles, shows in different cities in Southern California, and comedic YouTube videos pushing his brand, JasperTooFly is sure to make waves in 2023.
