Broward County, Florida native ITS HAB views life as a ride towards fame and fortune in his newest EP, The Big Eye. ITS HAB paints the swerves and detours of his journey with a variety of cadences and melodies that keep listeners in their seats during the fifteen-track ride.
“Vacant House” featuring Rylo Rodriguez created buzz for the Florida emcee garnering over a million streams on Spotify and 1.1 million views on YouTube since its release. “Vacant House” displays the dark tunnels HAB and Rylo had to pass through so they can enjoy cruising toward success.
ITS HAB sings on the hook, “I’m like a vacant house, I feel all alone, I’m on my own, a crane gon’ take me out. She play all my songs like on and on like, “You gon’ make it out”. Separate my soul, I got a goal, nothing could faze me now. I know that I’ma make it out…” Rylo follows the theme of the song with his verse covering the chaos of the streets with the lines “Lot of n****s playin’ like they street when they just the median. Only time they give your flowers is when your casket in the carriage…”
Although ITS HAB is fortunate to have the blessing to share his trials and tribulations, he doesn’t care for the extra things that come with the spotlight. He stated that “I’m not here for attention. I’m here to tell my story.” Tracks such as “Heartache” and “Feelings” shows the frustrations that came with eventually enjoying the fruits of his labor such as impatience, doubts, and betrayal.
