Fatpocket released his new project “Trap Pocket,” which includes collaborations from BIG30, YTB Fatt, Big Homiie G, Goldenboy Countup and AllSummerLong, and is currently available to stream via N Less Entertainment/Connect Music.
The 16-song project brings out his hustle mentality with lyrics flaunting his riches, money pursuits and his connection in the streets with featured singles like “Turn Yo Scale On” and “Say U Scared.” Showcasing his versatility, he delivers a slow-tempo R&B style track for the ladies, “I Want Real” with breakout artist, AllSummerLong. The project concludes with “Thug Therapy” as he gets more personal, reflecting on street life, betrayal from friends, providing for his family and coping with the pressure to make it in the rap game.
Most recently, he dropped the single “Wat Trappas Do” off the project after previously releasing his single and music video for “Live From The Trenches” back in April. Both singles, set the tone for the raw truths he raps about, while living up to his “Fatpocket” name.
Earlier in the year, he continued his momentum with a string of fiery single releases like “I Paid The Cost” and “Wait Your Turn” that featured hard-hitting beats and his signature bold, confident lyrics, while acknowledging the work he put in thus far.
“Trap Pocket” marks Fatpocket second project, following the release of his debut mixtape “Mastermind” in March 2023 to represent bringing his rap dreams to fruition. With his respect in the streets and money-chasing lifestyle before hitting the rap scene, Fatpocket showcased his confidence in his artistry with singles like “In My Own Lane,” “Price Change,” “Superstar,” and “The Biggest”. That same year, he released “Scars On My Back,” which revealed his introspective side with melancholic lyrics on losing people, betrayal and overcoming life challenges.
The Florida native began his music career back in 2022, when he released his first single ever, “3:28am In Miami” as his introduction to the rap game, while reaffirming his hunger for success.
After linking up with YTB Fatt, he signed with N Less Entertainment as their first artist outside of Memphis the following year. Shortly after, he was featured on the label’s compilation album, “We Connected” with the high-energy single “Type,” alongside his labelmates Moneybagg Yo, BIG30, Big Homiie G, Dee Mula, Fredo Ruthless and more.
