After riding the wave of his summer release L’algorithme Boaz is back with a new single “Checkmate” now available on all digital platforms via Dominion Hill Records / Roc Nation Distribution.

Boaz lyrics flows over a melodic soul sample beat produced by Jag Da Apostle. The Pittsburgh MC sets off the single with an intro solidifying his status as one the best MC’s in Pittsburgh Hip Hop and there isn’t too many people who would argue that.
The Pittsburgh rapper best known for his storytelling, lyrical ability and collaborations with former label mates Wiz Khalifa and the late Mac Miller, didn’t disappoint by dropping his new single “Checkmate”.

Boaz is from the Larimer neighborhood of Pittsburgh and started in the local battle rap Scene. He was part of the hip-hop crew The Govament before releasing his debut album “Intuition” featuring Mac Miller, Jadakiss, Styles P. and Junior Reid
Rhasun (Sonny) of the New Jersey based label Dominion Hill and Boaz are no strangers to collaborations. In 2020, Boaz delivered the classic anthem “Paradoxicalism” over Wu-Tang Producer 4th Disciple’s instrumental for the album titled “The Algorythm” featuring the late Sean Price, Peedi Crakk, Vinnie Paz, Rah Digga, La the Darkman, Sadat X and more. The album was executive produced by Rhasun and wholly produced by 4th Disciple.
