PHILADELPHIA — Meek Mill returned to his hometown Friday night for a one-night-only performance at Xfinity Mobile Arena, delivering a celebration of his career, his city and the artists shaping hip-hop today.

The concert marked Mill’s first solo arena show in Philadelphia since November 2022, when he commemorated the 10th anniversary of his debut album “Dreams and Nightmares.” The album’s title track, released in 2012, has since become a citywide anthem — immortalized during the Eagles’ 2018 Super Bowl run and still a staple in Philly sports culture.

Promoters initially teased unnamed special guests, but the show ultimately delivered an all-star lineup representing multiple eras and regions of hip-hop. In no particular order, the night featured surprise appearances from (Philly acts in asterisks):

*Skrilla

Roddy Ricch

*State Property

*Ot7 Quanny/NR Boor

*Wallo/Gillie

Friday’s performance also comes months after Mill headlined the 2025 Roots Picnic, further cementing his impact on the city’s music scene. Mill has released five studio albums, most recently 2021’s Expensive Pain, and teamed up with Rick Ross in 2023 for their collaborative project Too Good to Be True.

The additions brought a mix of legacy acts, chart-topping stars and rising Philly voices, underscoring the concert’s focus on honoring Mill’s roots while spotlighting the current landscape of hip-hop.

Promoters billed the event as a homecoming meant to “celebrate Meek Mill’s monumental career and Philadelphia roots.” The sold-out crowd reflected that sentiment, filling the former Wells Fargo Center for a night that blended nostalgia, city pride and star-powered performances.

Tickets for the event went on sale to the public Friday morning and sold quickly, driven by fans eager to witness the rapper’s latest hometown moment.
