When YouTube creator AlexEz Comedy invited Enzo Dennet, aka Enzo, onto his podcast, he didn’t realize the episode would reshape his own platform. After getting kicked out of Utah’s Fashion Place Mall, the video garnered thousands of views across YouTube and TikTok, and within days, the interview helped Alex’s channel surpass 1,000 subscribers, becoming his most-viewed video to date. A wave coined the “Enzo stimulus package” by a YouTube comment. After doing some digging into Alex’s platform, we were met with curiosity about this relatively unknown Utah artist. Come to find out, the effect didn’t begin or stop there.

Italian producer La Luna Nera saw his collaboration with Enzo, “Run Em Up,” become his third most-streamed record, and his biggest international crossover with over 700k streams, breaking into an American audience for the first time & introducing Enzo to the European market.

Nigerian rising artist Moxko hit a milestone too: his collaboration with Enzo, “Slower,” has become his most-streamed track to date, with over 16,000 streams, bridging Afro-beat rhythms with America’s sound and garnering attention in the UK & Nigeria.

The playful song “Where The Huzz At” saw Enzo coin & officially cement the Gen-Z term “huzz” as a cultural staple, and has become a regional hit among young Scandinavians. Its most popular TikTok has garnered almost 100k views, as two female friends look for boys at their local High School soccer game in Norway.

The unexpected boost behind Enzo’s single “Big Sass” came when fitness influencer Sommer Ray used the song in a TikTok video. The beachfront video in a red bikini instantly exposed the song to thousands of new listeners and helped it gain traction across platforms, but the moment didn’t last long as the track was removed from TikTok shortly after for inciting provocative content. Regardless, the exposure had already helped propel the record forward, putting it on pace to be the first single released by a Utah rapper to reach a million streams without a feature, a rare milestone for an unsigned Utah rapper.

Enzo’s most recent collaborations, “Light Work”, “Test Me” & “The Notice” bridge the gap with Houston artist Rich Fam Lo, one of Utah’s most exciting street rappers Hogang Benjii, & Oklahoma’s own Willy Graves on the latter, proving Enzo can keep up with some of the hardest rappers in the nation. Enzo has also helped push Utah producer DoitJustis and the Pura Vida Entertainment collective to new heights with “Die For This,” their most-streamed posse cut yet, a record that feels like a statement, bridging the gap between a Black American artist and Lalo Lucas and Roq-E, known for their Mexican-American-driven lyrics and branding. Of course, these numbers are on a smaller scale, but they are still impressive for an artist from a small market like Utah.

On top of that, Enzo is also the only Utah rapper to be featured on the Atlanta platform, DJ Smallz Eyez. To the unfamiliar, DJ Smallz is a legendary hip-hop DJ who created the Southern Smoke mixtapes in the 2000s, working with artists such as Lil Wayne, Master P, B.o.B. & even Drake. More recently, Smallz created his own interview platform, showcasing the South’s most buzzing up-and-coming artists like Lil Baby & 21 Savage. Enzo made an appearance on DJ Smallz after his first mixtape “Valley” started getting some traction due to the clip of him rapping his song “Art of War” on the hood of his car was being shared by some hip hop pages on Instagram and Facebook.

Most recently, a viral moment came knocking after Enzo’s Marty Supreme/Timothee Chalamet-inspired table tennis TikTok unexpectedly caught fire, racking up over 1.1 million views, introducing him to a whole new audience beyond music & making him the first Utah rapper to reach 1 million views on a TikTok. The clip’s mix of meme-ability struck a nerve on the platform, showcasing Enzo’s grounded personality and even humor. Capitalizing on the momentum, Enzo dropped a limited run of “Lori Supreme” merch tied directly to the viral moment.

Quiet as kept, Enzo Dennet is quietly closing the gap on Utah’s most popular names and, in some ways, surpassing them without the structural advantages. While J.T.M. (James the Mormon) benefited from strong ties to the LDS community, Stella Standingbear operates with strong management backing, & Mike Styles has benefited from his features with friend & Rythm & Flow participant Cody Ray. Enzo has built momentum entirely independently, even outstreaming popular Ogden rappers like Anth, Fsf Nes (ZayyyBabyyy) & edging past Utah veteran Restlezz, in monthly listeners, who has had major looks like NBA 2K24 placement and distribution through Sony Orchard. Within a year, Enzo has been covered by Voyage Utah Magazine, was crowned The Prince of Utah by Utah’s most renowned music platform, Provo Music Magazine & has managed to become one of Utah’s top 5 most buzzing and well-known artists while refusing to do local shows & with no formal industry machine, or even a music video to his name.

At its core, the “Enzo stimulus package” isn’t defined by viral moments or even numbers, but by the lift that follows wherever the 25-year-old goes. Although perhaps a different aesthetic and brand, Drake does come to mind when you think of Enzo, and like his predecessor, Enzo’s collaborations consistently translate into cross-cultural moments. From Utah to Europe, from TikTok timelines to Atlanta nightlife, on a smaller scale, Enzo operates as a connective force, bridging scenes that rarely overlap. In a small market with limited infrastructure, his trajectory proves that influence doesn’t require co-signs or major backing, just timing, authenticity, and an artist who understands how culture actually moves.
