Grammy Award-winning artist and producer Missy Elliott will be recognized with the Amazon Music Visionary Icon Award during the 10th annual Culture Creators Innovators & Leaders Awards Brunch on June 26 at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Los Angeles. The annual celebration honors influential figures shaping music, entertainment, sports, fashion and media, while recognizing the next generation of creative leaders.
Rising R&B singer JayDon is slated to perform a tribute celebrating Elliott’s lasting influence, as the event also marks the debut of Culture Creators’ “Next 10” initiative, a new platform focused on the future of culture and innovation. Elliott joins an accomplished class of honorees that includes Janelle James, Suzanne de Passe, Druski, Bethann Hardison, Jermaine Dupri, Andrew Hawkins and Jason Lee.
Beyond celebrating industry achievements, the brunch serves a larger purpose by supporting the Culture Creators Foundation’s HBCU+ Scholarship Fund, which helps students pursuing careers in media, entertainment, technology and culture through mentorship and career development opportunities. The event will also feature a curated photo exhibition highlighting a decade of Culture Creators’ impact, along with additional programming throughout the day.
