The 18-track release brings together the rapper, singer, musician, writer and producer behind the rising AL99 name.
AL99 has released his sophomore album, “It’s Me”, an 18-track statement that gives listeners a fuller picture of the artist behind the music. Released September 25, 2026, the project follows his debut album, “ELEVATE”, and captures an artist ready to show every side of himself.
AL99, pronounced AL Nine-Nine, moves between hard-hitting hip hop, melody and personal reflection throughout the album. The title track sits at the heart of the project, while songs including “War in Music,” “GUAP,” “Life I Chose,” “Ashes” and “Momma” explore ambition, loyalty, pressure and the experiences that shaped him. “It’s Me” presents those stories with the energy of an artist who can write, produce, engineer and perform his own music.
The album also reflects the relationships AL99 has built along the way. “Addictive Visions” features Aisha Hall, “Who With Me” features LBLeoBars, and the closing track, “SUPERDUPER (Remix),” features The Legendary Smooth B. Additional appearances include 40pak and ADMONISH Music.
“It’s Me” arrives after a strong run for ELEVATE and its surrounding releases. AL99 earned placements on the DRT Global Top 100 Independent Artists chart with “POP” at No. 5, “SUPERDUPER” at No. 6 and “WHY II” at No. 5. “Addictive Visions” featuring Aisha Hall reached No. 3, and “SUPERDUPER (Remix)” featuring The Legendary Smooth B reached No. 1.
Under TPC Music Production, LLC, AL99 secured a distribution agreement with UMG/Bungalo in 2025 and expanded his presence through performances and press runs in New York, Miami and Atlanta. With “It’s Me”, he brings that momentum back to the music and offers his clearest introduction yet to the person, musician and vision behind AL99.
