Curators of The Roots Annual Philly Fourth of July Jam Get The Party Started A Day Early This Year With A Hyper-Local Concert In Northern Liberties
Philadelphia, PA- On July 3, 2013, Philly Fourth of July Jam–producers of the Roots annual Philly Fourth of July Jam —in partnership with Identity Ink LLC and marketing agency i-g creative, present “The City,” a hyper-local music festival which aims to elevate Philadelphia’s performing artists and vendors during one of highest tourist-driven holidays of the year.
The first annual “The City” concert will provide local Philadelphians and tourists alike, a glimpse into the city’s thriving arts and culture community in one of Philly’s fastest growing neighborhoods: Northern Liberties. The concert is open to the public (free of charge) and will take place at The Piazza courtyard on July 3rd from 2-9pm. In addition to 11 live musical acts spanning across all genres and a special headlining performance by R&B act GoGo Morrow, Philly Fashion Week will curate a runway showcase highlighting the apparel and accessories from over 15 local designers.
