Since the NBA lockout has taken place, players are looking for contracts to play overseas, which is what Kobe Bryant, Kevin Durant & Derrick Rose have executed. All three landed a deal to play in an exhibition in the Phillipines for one weekend and will be paid $400,000 apiece for their work.
Did we mention players aren’t taxed for playing overseas?
