Bugatti has released details and photos of its new four-door sedan concept, the 16 C Galibier, ahead of the Frankfurt Motor Show. Named after a challenging alpine pass in the Tour de France as well as the vintage Bugatti Type 57 four-door sedan, the concept sedan was designed by Bugatti to be “the most exclusive, elegant, and powerful four-door automobile in the world.”
The 16 C Galibier was conceived with Bugatti’s brand values of “Art – Form – Technique” in mind, leading to door panels and fenders crafted from polished aluminum and other body panels built from blue-painted carbon fiber. The general shape of the 16 C Galibier was inspired by the classic Type 35 with a torpedo-like profile and trademark Bugatti radiator grille.
