This hasn’t been the year Lakers fans have been expecting and things aren’t getting any better. Lakers guard Kobe Bryant will miss six weeks after suffering a fracture in his left knee against the Memphis Grizzles on Tuesday night. Kobe has played six games this season and was averaging 14 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assist a night. The 35 year old five time NBA champion recently signed a two year extension with the Lakers worth more than $48 million dollars.
Bryant played most of the second half against the Grizzles on Tuesday night with the fracture in his knee and he scored what was his season high with 24 points. It is unknown if Kobe will return to the court this season so stay tuned to HHS1987 for updates with the Lakers and around the NBA.
