Growing up in the musically rich city of Brotherly Love, Nayr (pronounced Ny-air) Cross always had a passion for music since his grade school years, when he played various instruments. As Nayr grew in music he gravitated towards hip-hop as a pre-teen and began rapping. In 2008 he released a conceptual EP called “The Prism” based on emotion represented through song and color. The project was well-received, gaining a few independent awards and a feature on AOL’s Boombox in 2008. Since then he has worked with various artists, both rapping and producing. Now he plans to release his next project an LP/Mixtape called “From Here to Eternity” in late 2011.
